Great everyday shoes which mix casual style with technical performance.
The Scarpa Mojito GTX features the same Spyder sole unit, suede upper and rubber toe rand as their 'normal' Mojito shoe, but with and added GORE-TEX membrane for those times when the weather turns British!
Their Vibram Spyder sole strikes the perfect balance between durability, grip and traction on loose surfaces.
A shock absorbing EVA wedge at the heel keeps them comfortable, whiel the Vibram outsole uses a harder edge construction around the outside to provide great grip when the terrain gets loose.
The chunky front toe rand not only gives the Mojito a great outdoor look, but provides tough scuff protection.
Their Vibram Spyder sole, designed by Scarpa® and developed by Vibram®, has a rubber outsole with hexagonal suction pads in the centre and a sculpted outline, ensuring good grip and hold.

Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
I do 10 miles a day 365 days a year dog walking. These have been the best shoes I have bought. They fit like a glove and are superbly comfortable. I have had no wear problems and waterproofing is good
Hard wearing, comfortable, light weight shoes, previous pair did me for 3 years and are still going strong.
These have been fantastic, which I have worn daily for over 3 years.
The grip they offer is exceptional and the soles still have over half of their tread with over 3k miles walked. Soft, comfortable.
Grippiest sole rubber on the market bar the 5-10's but they don't last long because of that. will do 6 months max of 20 miles a week
Lace all the way down to the toe, so they fit like a glove, great.
These are great for walking the dog at this time of year - and they look good with jeans too!!!
Scarpa’s usual fit, great fit from the get go.
Today I bought my second pair. The previous pair which are showing signs of hard wear but still serviceable are about 4 ears old. I've given them a serious bashing and they have been absolutely brilliant. If the new pair are half as good I will be very pleased (again).
Very well made as I would expect from Scarpa. However, the sole is thin and I found you feel everything through it. I quickly became sore after only twenty minutes of pavement. Sadly, I'll be exchanging for something else. They look fabulous.
I’ve worn these between 5-7 days a week for over two years and they are still in good shape. I’ve had several other approach shoes from leading brands but these by far, are the best and most durable. There are more technical shoes available for more difficult approaches but for 90% of my day to day requirements, these are fantastic. When these eventually need changed, I’m buying another pair!
on my second pair - comfortable and waterproof. I did Country walking magazine 1000 mile challenge in them 2 years ago and only now worn out! Finding decent shoes is so hard so disappointed I cant get a set in my size at the moment.
A few reviews on here saying that the soles wore out too quickly. I would echo that. Didn't have mine all that long and the soles had worn through to nothing. They look good but I wouldn't recommend and I won't be buying scarpa stuff again. Oh and the soles at the front were so thin I could feel small stones through the sole far too much.
So I'd been looking for a new pair of approach shoes for several months after wearing out my Scarpa Crux. I'd previously ignored the mojitos, however after trying pretty much every other brand I decided to give them a go as I'd seen them online for less than £100 and knew GO would price match. These shoes are so comfortable (after a week of wearing in to soften them up) I wished I'd got them sooner! Still, as I managed to get them at a bargain price (after the price match around the same price as the fresh version) I've managed to forgive myself.
Really comfortable shoes, uppers are hardwearing & clean up nicely. Waterproofing is also great. I've had the shoes just over a year now & the heal portion of the sole is showing a lot of wear, disappointing imho considering the purchase price. I'm unlikely to buy another pair of Scarpa's because of this & couldn't really recommend them even though they're so comfortable.
I purchased a pair of Scarpa Mojito's GTX'S after having 2 pairs of Merrell Moabs. Finding that the American company that took over Merrell they gave me the feeling the size didn't quite feel right somehow !.
I've worn my Mojitos on the same terrain as my Moabs but sadly they have worn out in half the time and under half the mileage. I sent them back to Scarpa thinking there was a fault with the Vibram sole ( which incidentally worked perfectly on my Moabs) but I was shrugged off suggesting it was my high instep causing the wear. I've already said they did half the distance/time but I wasn't listened to!.
I'm now sporting a brand new pair of Merrell Sedona Gore-tex and now my feet feel they have come home!.
The Scarpa Mojito's are comfy, look good and lace great , which is were the two stars comes from otherwise it would be blank! Very disappointed!
The staff at Go-Outdoors Sheffield are all fabulous and helpful as always. Big thanks to them.
I agree with all the other reviews here, these shoes, (my second pair) are the most comfortable walking kit I've ever owned. Completely waterproof and just like tailored slippers. My first pair I've had over 2 years and look hardly worn, I had to buy the second pair because as one gets older your feet spread so I went up a half size. I love the lace right down to the toes feature. When I visited the Oxford Go I was ably advised by Mike (in footwear) who patiently fitted new laces to my old pair.and was generally excellent. Please tell Scarpa to keep making them!
I bought a pair by chance, I was really looking to buy a pair of Haglöf Vertigo but the store was out of stock. I had the London Bridges walk for diabetes the following day so couldn't wait.
From the moment I put them on they were like slippers, no breaking in required. Did 14 miles in them the following day and not a mark on my feet at all!
Have waited 6 months before writing review as wanted to see how they lasted? They are worn everyday and have been through everything with camping and cove walking in West Cork. They don't let the wet in so your feet stay dry and warm in the cold but remarkably dry and cool in warmer weather. As a bit of a bonus they also don't look bad with a pair of jeans for the pub afterward.
They have clocked up some miles now and there is hardly any wear on the sole!!!!
I highly recommend them *****
Purchased these recently and found them to be excellent.
They seem pretty robust and are well made.
Initially they felt very stiff, and have taken a bit of time to break in but are now as comfortable as a slipper. They can be adjusted to suit your feet by adjusting the laces which is worth taking the time to do. The sole unit and stitching and waterproofing appear to be lasting well. With careful looking after I can see them lasting a good few years yet. I'm a size 11 and the size 11 is a perfect fit.
These are brilliant, I use them both for everyday use as a trainer and also for spring summer and autumn walking when the ground is not too muddy, waterproofing is good and the sole is staying on after nearly 12 months heavy wear. Worth the money.
The Mojito GTX are wonderful. They are so comfortable and yet sturdy enough to last for years. Having owned two pairs of Scarpa Ranger II GTX boots, but more recently walked in Merrell Chameleon Wrap Slams, I was initially surprised by how stiff underfoot the Mojitos were. I do a lot of walking but I'm a very solid build, and think heavier folk like myself might find more cushioned shoes better for purposeful walking. I initially decided to keep them as lifestyle shoes and bought a pair of Scarpa Vortex XCR for exercise. Ironically, the Mojitos now feel like slippers after a few wears, whilst the Vortex feel looser than all other Scarpa size 46 I’ve owned, are not massively more cushioned, and will need thicker footbeds. So if you think they feel stiff underfoot, let them break in over a few wears. I love the colour of the Mojito GTX, and would love more pairs in other colours. I got a brilliant pricematch, making them not dissimilar to the non-waterproof models, and you have to ask whether waterproofing is necessary or remotely beneficial in such a low profile shoe! You wouldn’t head out in them in heavy rain! These will be my casual shoe of the summer!
Superb in every way, had about 4 years still going
